Site History
2010: The website started in early 2010 with a focus on consistent updates. Every year, toward the end of the school year, approximately ten to fifteen students from Form 3 are chosen and trained as web managers. They are responsible for adding that year’s content, including yearly class photographs and reports on club and society events. They serve in the role for one year, after which a new batch of students is selected to take over.
2015: The website received a fresh facelift in 2015, transitioning to a content management system (CMS) using the popular WordPress platform.
2024: Over the span of 14 years, more than 200 students have benefited from the web managers program, and the website generated hundreds of pages of content. Unfortunately over the years some of this content and certain links remain incomplete due to difficulties in securing cooperation from various groups to provide materials for inclusion on the site. The declining active participation from students and school management at the time has further worsened the situation.
2026: In 2026, a thoughtful decision was made to remove nearly all of the website’s content, keeping only the essential pages. A gentle redesign of the school website followed, lovingly preparing it for this transition. This quietly turned the site into a static space, with its heart now focused on the heritage gallery where more digitized memories and treasured pieces of the school’s past will be added, little by little, over time.
